Ahem, not really. It's bleeding edge, and more from the sociobiology camp, and

you know they get all the rotten tomatoes, but it's scarcely because they don't

understand evolution.

If you were to think about it, instead of just beat your chest for the sake of

it, it's simply an inversion of boobs-are-attractive. And any reasonable

evolutionary biologist can acknowledge that human traits, such as self-knowledge

and the ability to strategize and persist, might create alternate routes for

adaptation.

Oh, and by the way, did you notice the " grossly oversimplified " part? Few

people can translate fifty pages into a paragraph on the fly without losing

something here and there.
