Guest guest
Greetings, Can anyone suggest any cures for very dry skin, especially on the hands and face? We live in colder than usual climate, and I believe genetically not adapted to such cold climate (born and grew up in India, living in Canada). Running the indoor heating 24x7 - 7 months in a year doesn't help either ) In terms of diet, we do the following - lots of butter and ghee, 2 tsp of CLO daily, cook in VCO and apply on skin, lots of lamb and fatty fish in diet (Mackerel and milk fish). Also, let me mention that we have tried most " natural " moisturising creams and oils to no affect - the Calendulas, the Burt's Bees, whatnot. I have always suspected that these cream and lotions make no real difference and are only a rip-off in most cases - but I am willing to be proven wrong We also use non chemical dishwashing liquid, soap and detergent - it makes some difference, but again no fundamental change. So please any dietary or non-dietary suggestions welcome. Thanks, Pratick __________________________________________________
