Guest guest
Regarding the use of smoke, check out this link to Oaky Smoky. It is oak smoke vinegar and I kid you not. http://oaky.en.ec21.com/GC00629780/CA00629785/Oaky_Smoky_(food_additives,_sa ps___extracts).html# It's great for hangovers and getting rid of micotoxins in the system especially when I was battling what seemed to be a fungal overgrowth in my system. I loved it so much I bought several bottles and now I can't figure out where to buy it online. It tastes like concentrated smoke. I learned about Oaky Smoky while reading the very informative article about micotoxins at: http://www.wnho.net/mycotoxins.htm I'll cut and paste the conclusion of the article below: " CONCLUSION: One could test the validity of how poisonous mycotoxins are by eating a handful of poison mushrooms, a species of fungus. However, it would be less fatal to realize that many forms of fungus produce mycotoxins, which are chemical substances that are toxic to man and other life forms. In addition, fungi produce volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which may bind to fat within in your body and cause internal re-exposure to the toxic effects of these compounds. Current, integrative technologies in the health care area have produced far infrared MPS Capsules and Kuh Sung YLS-95 (Trade Mark Bio-Oaky & Oaky Smoky) that will kill fungus and neutralize VOC's in other tissue organs within the human body respectfully. These technologies may be the answer to current biological weapons of mass destruction and the risk of exposure to biological pesticides by killing these microorganisms at micron (0.000,001) and nano (0.000,000,001) levels within our human body. Cellular detoxification and its remediation are on the break of a new horizon through terahertz, far infrared and subnano technologies. ~Robin

Well, I'm guessing it tastes great, but looking at their process, how is it different from liquid smoke added to vinegar? The liquid smoke you buy at the store is made by a similar process. They condense smoke. Liquid smoke has been shown to prompt seeds to sprout, and it IS antifungal (one of the reasons for smoking meats: keep mold from growing when you hang the ham from your rafters). Adding it to a good vinegar ... that is a good idea. I think I'll try it though with some homemade vinegar and liquid smoke ... Someone whose opinion I respect recommended the product (highly!) to me and so I will ask them about the difference between Oaky Smoky and your basic liquid smoke... Makes sense. ~Robin
