You are not imagining this discomfort. Slight chemical differences can make major differences in how we feel. Check your new meds online, with the pharmacists, or in one of the many med books for laypeople for sale at the pharmacy or book store. M.pamr40 wrote: I had my labs and upper gi done last Friday. I agree, call you Dr. and your Pharmacist.

I think it's your body's way of saying it doesn't like what you're taking.

Also, it could also be the opposite, that maybe you have low acid?

Someone here mentioned that to me once.

My problem was that I can't take anti-inflammatory's. Are you taking those,

like Naprosyn, Motrin?

No, I take my hormone pill, Calcium with Vit D for osteoporosis, Fish Oil and a baby aspirin. That's it...until I started taking this pill. I've had a headache for months now, but it usually comes and goes. The last couple of days its just come and stayed. I'm glad I go back Friday to go over all of my test results. Maybe my head hurts from stress! lol I've decided I don't like getting older...I used to never get sick. Now I feel like its always something.Lynn wrote: Also, it could also be the opposite, that maybe you have low acid?Someone here mentioned that to me once.My problem was that I can't take anti-inflammatory's. Asprin can be hard on the stomach. I tried to take coated aspirin, and

couldn't take that

due to the acid reflux.

I don't think I have acid reflux. I rarely ever have heartburn or any symptoms of that. I do have a lump in my throat and feel a need to clear my throat a lot, so the dr wanted me to start taking this "just in case" until he could get an upper gi study done. That's exactly what I thought. I was dx 3 yrs ago with a small nodular goiter but the dr said my levels were fine and required no treatment. Then to be honest I just forgot about it and learned to live with the symptoms. Lately the symptoms have gotten so much worse, very fast (it seems) so I figured something must have revved up and went to see the dr. He agreed that my symptoms sound like hypo, but said the tickle in my throat could also be reflux so he wanted me to take this medicine for a few days just in case. I'm very anxious to find out Friday exactly what's going on and get something done. Kate Guynn wrote: That is your thyroid my dear! Not yet. He ordered 9 or 11 (can't remember) different labs and the upper gi. Maybe he's waiting to see what the results of those are first? You probably need an ultrasound done to see what the size is now. Take it

easy, you don't need anymore stress!!! Deep breath! :-)

haha....deep breath, what's that? That's another issue...I seem to have more trouble lately just breathing right. If its not for my heart rate speeding up, its this elephant that insists on sitting on my chest when I'm trying to breath at bedtime.
