Guest guest
I got a sample of this ... thing ... as a test - supposed to help muscle aches. What do you think of this ingredient list: Purified water (PiMag [TM]), CM Complex (certyl myristoleate), PEG 100 stearate glycerin, glyceryl stearate, benzyl alcohol, lecithin, tocopheryl acetate, carbomer, potassium hydroxide, menthol, fragrance, Magna-Cell [TM] liposomes. I have it on good authority that the liposome thing is supposed to help it be absorbed into the cells, the tocopheryl acetate is synthetic VitE, lecithin is an emulsifier. But some of these other things really pique my interest - PEG 100? What, that's better than pegging 99? " Carbomer " is a new one to me. And ya know, if you have to trademark " purified water " .... Apparently my chiro was at a trade show last week, and somebody was really pushing this stuff. He told me that he expected it to do absolutely nothing, but said " hey, try it out, and tell me if I'm wrong " . *snerk* So what do you scientists-at-heart make of it? MFJ Ideas are funny that way ... you go and let one loose, and suddenly it's crashing about the place, bashing up against other peoples' heads. Somebody oughtta control that. Pesky things, ideas. Guest guest
<g> I'm not a chemist at heart, but it has so much stuff that sounds like forms of fat/wax/soap...it sounds like a substitute for cholesterol. I think I'll stick with my whole milk, free range eggs, beef, and butter. > I got a sample of this ... thing ... as a test - supposed to help muscle > aches.
