Guest guest
Long O, a like " ah " , accent on the second syllable. He doesn't have much of a staff. When you call you might even get HIM answering the phone. I think his main office nurse is named Angie, and his mom helps out, too. Mind you, this is what I remember from almost a year ago, when I last was in there. The biggest complaint I had with him is that his fax machine was not working well, and I couldn't get decent copies of the labs. Hope that has changed. cowgirlgrams wrote: > The people who have been to see Dr. Ozan can you tell me if you have > been pleased with his staff? > > How do you pronounce his name..long " O " or short with a short or > long " a " ? Guest guest
Oh Oh, are you trying to burst my bubble? I guess you go to another dr. now? Why aren't you going to him anymore? What nationality is he? I heard he was pretty caring? .... > > The people who have been to see Dr. Ozan can you tell me if you have > > been pleased with his staff? > > > > How do you pronounce his name..long " O " or short with a short or > > long " a " ? Guest guest
, he is very caring. I only saw him once - he found my nodule, and after that my case was pretty much out of his hands, although I did speak to him on the phone a couple of times when I was deciding about surgery. And he changed a prescription (minor change) without my seeing him. I just decided to see Dr. after all the surgery and RAI. However, he's not on my insurance, and right now I'm trying to decide if my health issues warrant the extra expense, or if I should go back to Dr. Ozan. And I think he's Turkish. I'm just guessing, because before I went to him the first time, I googled his name. Didn't find anything about him, but did find a bunch of references to Turkey. However, he doesn't look Turkish - he's fair (and young, and recently engaged). My husband sees him too (not for thyroid) and likes him. Didn't mean to burst your bubble. cowgirlgrams wrote: > Oh Oh, are you trying to burst my bubble? I guess you go to another > dr. now? Why aren't you going to him anymore? What nationality is > he? Guest guest
THANK YOU SO MUCH BETSY!!! That makes me feel so much better. You had me worried for a bit...lol Thank you for posting again! I will let you know how it goes. Do you or your husband have a hard time getting into see him? I hope I can get in the next day or two so that I can do something about this Levoxyl thing.... > >> Long O, a like " ah " , accent on the second syllable. > >> > >> He doesn't have much of a staff. Guest guest
I really don't know. I don't remember how long I waited to get an appointment last spring. If I remember correctly, it was really quick. My husband was going in for a routine physical, so he really didn't care. If you can't get something quick, ask them to call if there's a cancellation. Or maybe they can squeeze you in earlier if they know you're having a problem with your medication. cowgirlgrams wrote: > THANK YOU SO MUCH BETSY!!! That makes me feel so much better. Guest guest
Thanks Betsy..I have an appointment with Dr. Marcos's PA at 9:30 in the morning. I wish Dr. Ozan's ofc opened early than it does otherwise I would call them to see when I could get an appointment and if I could get in quick I would cancel this appointment with the PA. I'm afraid if I cancel the PA's appointment I will be left hanging. I just hope I feel good enough to go by myself...my husband is leaving to go out of town tomorrow and the neighbor that took me to the drs. last time is also out of town until Tuesday evening. go figure...Everyone is leaving me....lol Well, have to go finish cooking dinner. Catch up later... How have you been feeling?.... > > THANK YOU SO MUCH BETSY!!! That makes me feel so much better. You > > had me worried for a bit...lol Thank you for posting again! Guest guest
You could try calling earlier, and see if anyone answers the phone. As for me, I have good days and bad days. I'm sure I need more Armour, but I don't know if Dr. R wants me to increase yet. I just increased from 2 1/2 grains to 3 in early January. The ringing in my ears is going to drive me nuts! And my temps have been really low, too. But the average is slowly rising, so I guess that's a good thing. And I have been going to the gym regularly. Of course, I need a nap afterwards. But it's an improvement. Thanks for asking. cowgirlgrams wrote: > Thanks Betsy..I have an appointment with Dr. Marcos's PA at 9:30 in > the morning. Guest guest
That's great Betsy...sounds like you are slowly on the mend. My temps have been low until I started the big increase in Levoxyl. Now it almost feels like I am running a low grade fever with a temp of 98.3. It used to be somewhere around 96.9 - 97.1. I sure wish I could get back to exercising. I feel like I can barely walk and I was starting in Pilates a couple of months ago. Heard it was one of the best things to do to strengthen your back. I went a few times and then I started to feel bad with this thyroid and low blood sugar thing. I tried Curves for awhile and my back started bothering me so I quit doing that. Hopefully, when I start to feel better I can at least get back to the treadmill here at home until I can work myself up. I don't know much about Armour so can't help you there. I do wish you the best though...I am sure you are going to do fine. Good talking to you... > > Thanks Betsy..I have an appointment with Dr. Marcos's PA at 9:30 in > > the morning.
