Dear Lynda,

What if you made a list of all the specific ways in which L is

fucking up your life, and then took them one at a time, to inquiry.

For example: L is fucking up my life by borrowing money from my

mother... You could inquire on: L shouln't borrow money from my

mother. Or see what each way in which he's fucking up your life means

for you. For example: L borrowing money from my mother means that

he'll always be in my life... i'll always have to support him... i'll

never be free of him...

As far as your turnarounds... Can you think of ways in which

you " fuck up your life " ? Another turnaround could be that you fuck up

L's life. Can you find any way in which that might be just as true?

Oh, i don't know if any of this will help. If it's not helpful please

just disregard. I really want you to find the truth rather than

flailing around in your anger at L. (And yes, i can see that i really

want me to find my truth rather than flailing around in what this

morning was a sense of pointlessness about my life)

I observe you wanting magic from The Work. But, it's not a magic

wand. It's an opening to the truth. All you need is a smidgen of

willingness and 4 questions...and by virtue of being here it seems

you already have some willingness. Can you find a quiet place and

just allow yourself to really sit with the inquiry? Take one

stressful statement and ask your heart to answer the questions for

you. What a wonderful gift to yourself!
