You should be able to get it at any HFS. Suze Fisher Lapdog Design, Inc. Web Design & Development http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze3shjg Weston A. For wound healing, extra Vitamin C taken through out the day might help.. ~Robin

I've had great success treating deep cuts with some moistened Azomite clay and a waterproof bandage. (The waterproof bandage keeps the plaster of clay moist. You'll want to make sure to use clean, filtered water.) I don't know how it would work with a wound that required stitches, though. -

Or if you can't (because of the stitches) apply it AROUND the wound and let it suck out the " toxins " or whatever it is that it does. It does seem to stop pain rather nicely on the smaller wounds I've tried it on, but it's messy and I'm not sure what I'd do around actual stitches or an open wound ... good thing to research. Lately they seem to be using these great bandages that TOTALLY seal the wound, don't let air or water in. The bandages stick until the skin grows in underneath them. I bought some for home and use them when I can ... the wounds don't get infected or inflamed, and without water and air reaching them, they heal quicker and are less painful. They are transparent and you can see what is going on underneath. If you had stitches and are under a Dr's care though, you might not have that option, keep it in mind for next time, or ask the Dr. about it who worked on your leg. Also I'd be really careful to keep things clean and not let them get infected. There's been a lot of these horrid staph infections around. Guest guest
Raw honey is supposed to be very effective at reducing wound infection and decreasing healing time. Here's a link, though there are lots of others: http://www.wounds1.com/news/mainstory.cfm/45/1 I've used it on small wounds and burns, and it certainly didn't hurt, but I haven't done it enough to be an avid advocate yet. All the best, Jan
Guest guest
I like ozone gel. I have used it when I had trouble with a cut healing because of its location and it worked great.
