After all my posts, a couple of ex-veggies came out of the woodwork to say that they had to start eating some full-fat meat because their health was deteriorating on the low-fat diet. Even the " expert, " who, surprisingly, is NOT vegetarian or vegan, admitted she ate protein, although she has trouble digesting it (probably because she eats low-fat). Also, someone was inspired to create a poll, and the first questions asked about diet (last count, only about 10 out of 280 are veggies—maybe they're jumping ship?). So either they'll start being more tolerant of omnivorous subjects, or we meat advocates are about to be given the heave-ho! I'm feeling a bit optimistic, because a couple of others were waxing enthusiastic on receiving their copies of NT. Maybe I can shut my big mouth for a change, LOL.
