OK, I posted a question the other day about AAT. If you are still

looking for answers about your breathing this maybe the answer.

The American Thoracic Society has recommended AAT testing for all

patients with COPD and/or reversible asthma and family members of those

with these diseases.

AAT deficiency is the most prevalent , potentially fatal hereditary

dis3ease of caucasians. It is responsible for up to 3% of chronic

obstructive lung disease cases in the US. Asthma is a chronic

obstructive lung disease.
