Guest guest
I have been taking Advair now for a year and a half. I have not needed any emergency inhaler during this time period. For about 4 months I have been having an on and off sore throat and tongue. Throat culture showed a bacterial infection about 2 months ago. Doctor gave me a z- pack and while I was on that my throat was very very sore. At my annual physical about 3 weeks later I explained that to the doctor and she did a culture for thrush. She didnt expect it to come back positive because I had no white patches in my mouth. It did come back positive for thrush. She now wants me to take these lozengers 5 times a day for 2 weeks. I havent started them yet as I am allergic to Diflucan and these things make me nervous. Anyone get thrush from Advair?? I rinse throughly every time I use it because I knew that it could cause thrush. Now I am very tired and nauseaus and my muscles hurt. Anyones help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
