I don't think the oiled anchivies are better.

I just wanted to make a distinction in favor of the dried anchovies.

When I said the dried anchovies are " not as hi-powered " I meant

that I didn't think were as salty and stinky as the ones bottled in oil.

I used 'hi' used to describe the offensive anchovies such as " It

smelled to high heaven " .
