Can someone please help me with fil mjolk?

I was just given some by a friend & have no idea what to do with it

except 1 tsp per 1 cup of milk. How long do I leave it? How long does

it store in the fridge before I have to culture more? What else can I

do with it? I've heard a good sour cream can be made of it, anyone

know how??
