Guest guest
I started reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by M. Pirsig. Today I came across this passage: " ...physical discomfort is only important when the mood is wrong. Then you fasten on to whatever thing is uncomfortable and call that the cause. But if the mood is right, then physical discomfort doesn't mean that much. " It reminded me to ask myself: Who would I be without the story that my body hurts? And it becomes pretty obvious that without the story that my body hurts, the physical discomfort sure doesn't mean that much! : )
