I started reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by M.

Pirsig.

Today I came across this passage:

" ...physical discomfort is only important when the mood is wrong. Then you

fasten on to whatever thing is uncomfortable and call that the cause. But if

the mood is right, then physical discomfort doesn't mean that much. "

It reminded me to ask myself: Who would I be without the story that my body

hurts? And it becomes pretty obvious that without the story that my body

hurts, the physical discomfort sure doesn't mean that much! : )
