Big businesses just really started taking the government for a ride a few years back and every year since we have less rights. Then when you bring it up, stupid ignorant types defend the corrupt system. When I lived in NYS as much as I got sick, I never had to worry about losing my job b/c employers there were much more understanding. Here in Florida, it seems they just dont care as long as you show up to do whatever it is that they want you to do. The place I worked at acted like they owned you and some employees were actually not allowed to leave until their work orders were complete.
