Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this group and I joined to get more info to help my ten year old son. He is been diagnosed with Astma ( mainly allergic and exercise induced) a year ago but has been suffering longer than that. Since his Astma is not that severe (he had only one emergency room visit) I have a hard time accepting the fact that he uses a steroid inhaler. On a daily basis he seems completly fine but he is a big athlete and that is when he has most of his problems. I do admit that he is doing better with the steroid but was wondering if anybody had success with an alternative methode( Accupuncture etc...) The doctors say the inhaled steroids are pretty safe but does anybody know side effects/complications especially in children?? Thanks so much, Petra __________________________________________________
