Hi!

I'm thinking ahead here, and want to try pressure canning some foods

this fall (things that are highly cooked anyway like soup &

applesauce). It's a matter of freezer space and the inconvenience of

having food frozen solid when I would like to use it now.

Anyone out there have any suggestions about buying a pressure canner

or tips on using it?

Thanks!

Jan

I have one that hold 7 quart jars or 11 pints. Mine is older than the hills too.

Think it is a 1933? I find this a nice size to use. When I have had my lid

tested it has always been dead on. I think you need to get the lid tested before

getting rid of the one you have.
