Guest guest
Hi I am new to this group and I joined this group for my mother. She has been suffering from asthma for several years now. She has tried all types of inhalers including advair, albuterol, Xopenex etc. Nothing has worked for her. She is also extremely sensitive to drugs. Two days ago, she had a severe attack and it would not subside. The doctor prescribed prednisone...which has helped her immensely. But since she has osteoporosis, and had two hip surgeries in the space of a few months cannot continue taking prednisone for a long period of time as it softens the bones. Are there any other medications out there that can really help her with her asthma? Thank you! Zee Email and AIM finally together. You've gotta check out free AOL Mail!
