Thanks for all the info. but I'm still a little confused. My doctor

is a pulmonologist. The exact word he used to describe my test was "

a little inconsistant " Although he showed me the printout of my test

and said that most people would breathe aboout 3 liters and my test

was about .5 liters before the meds ( which work really well for me)

Although I'm 47 I'm showing NO signs of menopause and I don't know if

that's causing it. I'm very active, I'm into cycling, swimming,

weight training and whatever else I find I can do without symptoms. I

just think it's weird that this happened kinda all of the sudden and

started when I was cycling ( severe problems breathing even on short

rides - less than 10 miles) The last time I went to see my doc. he

said, " I'm not sure what we're treating here. " I don't have

symptoms that would indicate allergies and I've never been tested. (

my mom is an OR nurse at a local hospital) I seem to have gone from

having hay fever -like symptoms( sneezing, runny nose itchy eyes,

stuffy congested head) to asthma-like symptoms ( coughing, shortness

of breath, wheezing...) I guess it's just as weird to me as it is to

my doctor?? Does anyone know anything about this??? EKG was normal as

was my bloodwork, no problems even though I have a family history of

heart disease. I don't smoke and never will because it aggrevates my

symptoms so bad.

I'd appreciate any information or ideas that anyone might have

to offer because I'm completely out of info and ideas.

Karan
