Definitely, and hard-boiled eggs are the hardest to digest (they stay in the stomach the longest). >What is the best cooked way to make the best of the nutrition in an egg >(other than >eating raw)? Gently fried sunny-side up, I'd imagine. -
Guest guest
Pratick, I personally can't stand eating anything slimy, so I have always had my eggs cooked solid, devoid of all moisture, and completely destroyed...no wonder they have always made my stomach upset! I know it isn't exactly what you asked for, but maybe this trick will work for you... The best way to eat the raw egg this time of year is to make egg nog! A glass of milk, and egg, and honey to sweeten to taste...blend and and enjoy! Basic egg nog...often fed to elderly or infants (by this I think toddlers is actually meant) or infirmed. Guest guest
I also make eggnog with coconut milk. Same recipe. For one reason, I do not have access to real whole cow's milk. I add anywhere from one to six whole, raw eggs per cup of milk. Add stevia, a dash of nutmeg, and, sometimes, a bit of pure vanilla. Enjoy! ;-) Judith Alta -----Original Message----- Pratick, I personally can't stand eating anything slimy, so I have always had my eggs cooked solid, devoid of all moisture, and completely destroyed...no wonder they have always made my stomach upset! Is it necessary to use filterd water when boiling eggs? +++, it is best to use filtered water for cooking, but not it isn't a biggy either, so it's up to you.
