Guest guest
Y'all will get better search result with " lactated ringer's " , which is what is printed on the bags. Ringer invented an IV electrolyte solution; the lactated version has sodium (or other cation) lactate and is used in patients whose blood is on the acidic side. -- Persi M. Mon Interesting! Do you know if this determination still uses 7.40 as baseline normal for venous blood plasma pH? Rudolph A. Wiley Ph.D. author of Biobalance found 7.46 to be baseline. 7.40 being extremely acidic, above 7.46 alkaline. Wiley found variations of one to two tenths of one percent from 7.46 made the difference between healthy and motivated individuals and those society classifies as maladapted and neurotic.
