Hi All,

I want to introduce myself to the group and ask for support. I have been

listening to 's podcast for over a year and just bought Full-filled and

started reading it. I have a long history with weight and food issues. I can

remember back to age 9 hating my body. I was treated for bulimia at age 22, in a

6-week hospital stay. That was 25 years ago and I have been struggling since. I

have not purged or taken laxatives since my treatment, but have been either

actively losing or gaining weight since then. I have a lifetime membership in

Weight Watchers, I exercise most every day. I am at a healthy weight, but feel I

need to lose 10 pounds to be really comfortable in my skin. BUt, I am TIRED of

thinking about it. My intention is to stop wasting my energy and brain power on

weight management. There HAS to be more to life than this. So many more

important things to experience than knowing calorie count (or point value) of

all foods and exercise!

I believe IOWL will be the ticket to moving beyond this obsession and want to

work the program. I have to admit, I have some skepticism, having done hundreds

of other plans in the past. The first recommendation in the book is to get

support. I don't feel comfortable with any friends or family with this and hope

to connect with a buddy or group here.

Glad to be here and appreciate any feedback,

Sheri
