Welcome aboard Khiri!

The support of this community is valuable on many levels. Glad to have you here.

There are lots of newbies on here and it is always nice to have somebody join

in. We all need each other and the reinforcement that comes from being built up

and affirmed by each other.

I am under a lot of stress here still with all these changes going on. I just

did my first day of driving on this new trucking job. So much to learn and so

many new procedures and new people to deal with. I did OK, as I got the trailers

all moved, didn't bump into anything or drop anything so all is well. I feel a

bit better knowing that I do remember how to hook and unhook, back, maneuver,

start and shut down the equipment. I learned a good bit about how to do the

primary paperwork. There are many other aspects and tasks I have not done yet,

but I will do them all one at a time. Next week I expect there will be loads to

take on the road, not just shunting around the lot. I know how to do that, just

the main thing is be careful and don't kill anybody.

I found out some very distressing details about the on-line behaviour of one of

my sons. I am really upset about it and I don't look forward to talking to him

about it.

Carlton, I'm glad you hear you did well on your first day of the new job.

You have our support regarding your son. Take it one step at a time and come

here if you need anything!
