oh fair kate, please tell how you succeed in ingesting two whole tablespoons of

this nastieness? i put a tsp in my smoothie but always leave two thirds of it

sitting....

regarding the quantity... i remember reading about bentonite clays (pascalite is

one kind of bentonite) that they are strongly detoxifying and so overuse over a

long period of time (what's long? not sure...) can demineralize your bones,

teeth and whatever else needs to be mineralized in our bodies. i don't recall

the source, it was a few years ago now. if you don't get a qualified response

here, if it were me - i would do my own research to verify the safety.

Second question: I'm finding that I'm eating a tablespoon or two a day

of Pascalite: which is way in excess of the recommended dose. Any

thoughts about how inadvisable that might be?

Cheers,

Kate

Easy: I absolutely love the stuff and have to hold myself back from

eating even more. Are you sure it's pascalite you've tried and not

some other clay?

I have heard that bentonite clogs up the system if you take loads, but

also heard that pascalite is more of a " feeding " than a cleansing

clay, so hoped it wouldn't be so much of a problem.

On balance, I think what Heidi says is reassuring: I will try to

restrict myself to a tablespoon or so, but otherwise not worry too

much.

Yum, yum, yum :-)
