If it's what I think it is, should I worry about my computer getting infected if I look it up? and some patience I could definatly feel something which approaches what I lost. Are you off your antidepressant? Orgasm still sucks, but the path to orgasm is enjoyable. Though not in the first 10 minutes. It slowly builds up to something half decent and taking pauses and restarting helps as well. The feeling is not as intense as it used to be, but I do get to feel pleasure for quite some time. It's certainly is better then nothing at all. I hope the intensity comes back. Maybe over time, your penis (I'm assuming you're a man, though that assumption isn't definitively supported by your nom d'Internet or text) will begin to remember how it used to be. There was a time when I didn't have orgasms (this was way before Effexor or any other med) during intercourse. The reason: I didn't know how. Didn't know about the G spot (and if my clitoris got directly stimulated, the feeling would get magnified by a power of 10 or so). This may sound strange, not "knowing how" to have an orgasm -- aren't they just supposed to happen? As a female, and esp. with my ex, I was expected to have an orgasm (I suspect men feel inadequate if a woman they're having sex with doesn't come), which put a lot of pressure on me & inhibited me, which made it worse. After I left my ex, I just pretended to have them with new lovers to take the pressure off, so was relaxed, and eventually did have one spontaneously, arising in the G spot. It was on the weak side, but definitely an orgasm. Then I trained myself in how to recognize the early signs & keep them going, cultivate them. I don't remember how I did this, some mind-over-body trick or something. Or maybe the images I'd have in my brain, in which I was inside my vagina, and I was my vagina, which was very effective at getting anything else off my mind. And I ended up pretty much a nymphomaniac, although I'd passed the "nymphette" years. After that my sex life was much more than adequate, until I moved here & lost the ability to find men (I'm retired and don't like bars). Then I started having trouble getting orgasms from masturbating, figured it was the Effexor, and that's why I came off it. L-arginine turns into nitric oxide, which is a vasodilator, so increases circulation. You can buy L-arginine creams if you want to increase the circulation in specific body parts. (This includes feet & hands for diabetics.) Be sure the cream has more than a dab of the arginine in it. You can get pure, lab-grade L-arginine on the Web (I forget the source, just look up "L-arginine cream". I can't remember (well, there goes the memory again) whether they sell it in cream form, but they do sell it in very fine powder form. If you have to buy the powder, mix it into a little of your favorite lube (of course, it would have to be soluble in that particular lubricant, so maybe dissolved in water, or whatever it is solvent in, then your lube), apply, and wait 5 or 10 min. for results (which would be more circulation in the area where applied, threfore more tumescence, and maybe (I'm speculating) more encouragement to your body to join in the fun & bring you to orgasm. If a person were anorgasmic, it might only help to increase one's sensations up to orgasm, but might not help with getting over the top (I don't know, I'm just interpreting what I've read). The actual orgasm (I read, once, somewhere -- it's a difficult question to get answers for in a Google search -- even Wikipedia doesn't know -- their article on oxytocin, which is where I ended up after searching for "What is the biochemical cause of orgasm?" is full of contradictions) is brought on by a sudden rush of noradrenalin (or norephinephrine, depending on what country one lives in) -- just enough to send your orgasmic parts into overdrive w/o causing a whole-body fight-or-flight reaction (which, if you had one of those, could deflate you in a hurry). So maybe a little oral intake of something with epinephrine in it could make those orgasms better. I'm not advocating buying speed or drinking surgical epi -- hmmmmm - how about the epi pen asthmatics use...? Or is that a needle? Probably wouldn't want to stab your penis with a needle. I don't know what would increase your epinephrine just enough to encourage an orgasm. I wonder if you got hold of some liquid epi & applied that topically if it would get absorbed. You might have to do research on transporting agents (agents that transport other agents through the skin). I'm just sayin' it's worth trying to find out what, physiologically, biochemically, functionally, makes one go over the edge. > > I understand everybodies milage may vary, but perhaps this may be of use to somebody. I'm not sure how important the weed is, but it helps me relax and not rush things. Sounds like a good idea. Pot always made me paranoid, so I never smoked it uness my ex forced me to, but I have a male anorgasmic friend on Prozac who can get hard, but can't come. He smokes a LOT of pot & I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it. Too relaxed to come. He also sleeps more than 12 hrs a day and I keep asking him "maybe it's the amt of pot you smoke?" but since it relaxes him, he doesn't want to reduce the amt. I hope you have continuing good luck. Guest guest
Hi AnnI am male. I haven't been using anti-depressants since the summer of 2009. Then my problems started. As for weed, if you smoke it too much it certainly has an adverse effect on your sexuality and your ability to function as a human being. I use it only in order to enjoy sex/masturbation. About twice a week these days. I don't mind too much that orgasm isn't as strong as it used to be, what's important to me is the way to orgasm. That should be enjoyable. The quality of orgasm however is an indication of my overall sexual health. Since i went within a week and a half from next to no feeling to a decent experience perhaps in a month or two that may be restored as well. And even if it is not, there may be no light at the end of the tunnel, but at least the tunnel itself can be lit.Xhamster is a site like youporn. It hasn't infected my pc.Women are more complicated then men, and I think you simply need to explain how yours work. Ours work quite simple, so no explanation needed. It's not that men feel inadequate when women don't orgasm during sex (why so negative?), sex is supposed to be enjoyable for both parties involved. I just realized that if this condition persists I will have to fake orgasms as well!!!Regards .... > Two weeks ago I bought Juvel-5 Arginine, which is an aminoacid. Guest guest
Hi AnnI know nothing of the sience of it, certainly ssri' change some things in the brain. Perhaps this induces to body to stop producing whatever it is we need to enjoy sex. But the very fact that by taking arginin I get some feeling back within 10 days indicates to me that at least nothing is damaged. I would really be interested to hear if other people have similar positive results with this stuff. Or perhaps it only offers temporary relief.Your friend sounds a lot like me. I started smoking more and more because my sexual feelings disappeared. The more I feel, the less I need. Though the combination remains enjoyable. However smoking to much weed has a detrimental effect on your mental health. I took fluoxetine for social phobia, feelings of depression and fear. They were caused by smoking weed. Since I stopped smoking on a regular basis (5 joints per day vs 3 joints per week) am no longer depressed or afraid. I used to have panic attacks. All gone. Your friend needs to stop and realize his problems are caused by cannabis. It's not easy, especially without help. Your brain convinces you it is really terrible not to smoke. He has to break through that, most likely he cant do it alone. Once he manages that, he won't need the meds either.Good luck > > .... > > > Two weeks ago I bought Juvel-5 Arginine, which is an aminoacid. Guest guest
I think pot maybe give you some relaxation feeling but yet it is a numbing agent. But for those that think there is no hope. This seems to be a semi success story. Adil To: SSRIsex Sent: Wed, November 10, 2010 10:57:12 PMSubject: Some success I live in Holland and as you may know cannabis is not illegal here. Over the past years I developed the habit of smoking a joint every now and then. Because of libido problems since the past year and a half, I finally decided I should stop. I stopped smoking pot completely since September. However my libido did not return. Only then did it slowly dawn on me that my problems were related to discontinuing fluoxetine. Guest guest
When my children were very young (back in the early 80's) I knew some people who grew pot. My husband and I went to their house for Thanksgiving dinner. Now I knew from experience that marijuana was quite the aphrodisiac before I became numb, so I thought it might help. Well, it sure gave me the munchies, but it did nothing for me sexually. I just wanted to go to sleep early. However, it seemed that my husband stayed horny all night!!! Guest guest
That's Great! Congratulations!  I've been thinking about trying the Compulsion Blowout with Diet Coke. Your success has helped me decide to go ahead.  Thanks so much for sharing.  Beverly ________________________________ To: insideoutweightloss Sent: Tuesday, November 8, 2011 12:11 PM Subject: Some Success  I just had to share the good news.  I have had a problem with potato chips since my early teens. Just the sight of the bag triggers a binge. I decided to try 's Compulsion Blowout (available on her website for $30 - believe me, that's a good price) and I worked through it last night.  Today the message has gone around that leftover halloween treats are available in lunch room for everyone. Those treats included chips. I walked right by the chips. Instead I selected 2 of the tiny chocolate bars and was happy with that.  Compared to binging, I'll take the 2 fun-sized chocolate treats anyday.  Peace to you all!  -Stacey
Guest guest
Good for you! It's so hard to ignore those trigger foods. I'm glad you were able to do that for yourself and still enjoy a small treat. ________________________________ To: insideoutweightloss Sent: Tuesday, November 8, 2011 5:11 PM Subject: Some Success  I just had to share the good news.  I have had a problem with potato chips since my early teens.
