All this discussion reminds me of the passage in 1 4:4-5.

This is from the New American Standard Bible:

" For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected

if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of

the

word of God and prayer. "

, i'm so glad you posted this. whenever one of my wapf friends

and i start talking and start obsessing over everything, food-wise; one

of us invariably ends up reminding the other: " seek ye first the

kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be

given unto you " . sometimes we forget ultimately where food comes from

(God) and that He made us and knows what we need; and that we should be

thankful we have food and eat it with gratitude.

sometimes all this talk here, and the ins and outs and do's and don'ts

and why's and wherefore's of food (and in real life with my friends

too) makes me just plain CRAZY.

for me it puts the right perspective back. thanks so again for posting

that.

Hi Gene, okay, so you're being judgemental and insulting and

presumptuous and more...all in one sentence of eight words.

you're calling and i intolerant...there was nothing above i see

as intolerant.

you're saying we're religious...when you don't even know us. i

haven't been inside a church in a couple years...long story.

you're calling us fanatics...when there's probably something about

you, if i knew you, that i could say is fanatical.

you're saying we drive you crazy...that is insulting as i don't think

you mean it in a good hearted way.

Gene why do you insist on doing this...why do insist on speaking your

opinion when your opinion might hurt others...

why do you read posts that you have no interest in other than to look

down upon the writers and try to make them feel bad or stupid or less

than human or...shall i go on?

i realize this conversation really is pointless....

i feel really sorry for you, Gene...i really do. you really have no

idea what you're saying...or what you're doing.

you're just using bad manners again to make people dislike you.
