Guest guest
Ah. I was wondering if something with ACV in it might help a person recover from heavy exertion in the hot sun. Any idea why this works? P.S. DH mowed the front yard yesterday in the hot sun and, after he got inside and cooled off, every time he tried to stand up, his legs cramped. --- In , JK DeLapp <jkdelapp@y...> wrote: > All Athletes and Needers of Electrolytes, > > For the Donkey Punch of drinks mix in: > > 2 Tablespoons of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar or Palm Vinegar > 2 Tablespoons of Raw Honey > 1 Liter of Water > > This is what the Roman soldiers used when on the march. This is what I use when I am working out, or if I am sick or dehydrated. It is the ultimate electrolyte drink. Tastes like vinegar the first sip, and after that, it tastes like sweet water. You'll notice it really works because you will sweat more, and easier. Your body will cool quicker, and your energy buz will ride more evenly. > > Try it and enjoy! > > JK > > > > JK DeLapp > Loan Officer > United Capital Financial > 770.552.7500 x127 > Fax: 678.935.4368 > Cell: 404.934.3194 > jkdelapp@u... > > www.UnitedCapitalFinancial.com > __________________________________________________ >

JK, This intrigued me, because when I first read it, I said to myself, " kombucha! " and one of my clients swears by kombucha as his secret weapon in surfing contests, says no one can out-paddle him. I always assumed it worked so well for him because he's had long-term problems with dehydration, and he's improved tremendously with LF beverages. Hmm, kombucha is an albatross in the kitchen, really, maybe I'll give this a go. B.
