Guest guest
Someone on another group pointed something out about journalling that hit me hard. Journalling has been recommended as a way to get out all your stresses and negative thoughts. But what am I really doing when I write down all the bad things in my day? Focussing on them. No wonder my journals seem like a whinefest, which then manifests into the next day. I was in a vicious cycle where no one won. So I tried only journaling good thoughts, the fun things that happened in my day, or the up-side of a crappy situation. Or I'll write about something that pained me, but I'll then rewrite it turned around, focussing on the positive side. Like affirmations. Or else I'll write down an appreciation. So say a parent was incredibly rude to me. I might write that down, but then I'd also write about the people who were nice to me that day, other days, every day. I'll write about the great things I have in my life. I might even rewrite the entire episode with an emphasis on a caring parent trying to help their child and how all people are my friends and only treat me with high regard and respect. I feel better! Happier! The world seems happier! Law of Attraction - what you focus on is what you manifest.
