Guest guest
HOW CAN I HEAL BAD MEMORIES? By Zukav http://zukav.com/index.soul?pv=3111 & aid=148 & -session=zk:2433A6FFB62632CD538743A9\ 4DF703A6 a.. I cannot forget some painful experiences. How can I finally heal them? Learn from them. Regret serves no useful function in spiritual growth. It makes the tree grow crooked. Your experiences are painful to remember because, as you look back on them, you see how you could have spoken or acted otherwise, or how you wish things would have turned out. When you indulge in the pain of regret, you walk past the gift that is being offered to you by the Universe. Instead of squandering your energy trying to change what cannot be changed, use it to change what can be changedâ? " your life. Relive your painful experiences but not to dive once more into trauma and agony. Relive them to discover what intentions that you held at the time, examine words that you spoke, and your actions. Compare what you created then with what you want to create now, and use your experiences to help you. After you explore your painful memories with the intention to learn how to create differently in the present, let them go. Their purpose is to instruct you, not torment you. Be grateful that you will no longer create again what you created in the past. Set the intention to be aware of old reactions as they surface, and to respond to the circumstances of your life differently. That gives value to your experiences. Pain is merely pain, but pain for a worthy cause is suffering. What is more worthy than your soulâ? " than creating a life through which the energy of your soul can flow unimpeded into the Earth school? What is more worthy than fulfilling your most noble aspirations? Once you have learned from your painful memories, and you feel confident in your intention to apply what you have learned from them to your life, release them. Imagine each one of them in a helium balloon, and that you are holding the strings. Then imagine cutting the strings with a scissors and watching the balloons rising up and up, getting smaller and smaller, until they disappear.
