I just had the most passionate, convoluted theological debate with a neighbor

who was nursing her munchkin the whole time. An experienced nursing mother can

continue a conversation almost unaffected. :)

Say what? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever read about

breastfeeding. In the first two weeks of my nursing relationships with

my daughters that may have been true, but it becomes a routine, ho-hum

sort of activity after that--as much as I enjoyed nursing, and I really

did. (And I'm glad I'm not any more!) An adult who gets that offended

that easily must have trouble having lunch with friends; after all, if

their companions are eating their linguini with gusto they must be

paying more attention to their hunger than the conversation. How

offensive!
