...I just drink VCO in the warm months and then chase it with ice

It cuts the oily taste better, but more generally, it offers a little

relief from the heat. We're having a red-letter day here in NYC: it'll

reach 92, but so far the humidity is only 45% instead of its usual

infinity. Of course, in direct sun it's more like 250 degrees, and my

apartment building has now soaked up enough heat to last through the next

five winters, but hey, you take what you can get.

Quick, go in the bedroom, where it's 58.

<sigh> That sounds reasonable. You wouldn't wanna trade, wouldja?

DH mowed yesterday in 97 or 98 degree heat with 55% humidity. :-(

Today in tropical Wellington, Noo Zealand, it is 9C (48F) on the

thermometer. But with a southerly gale, coming straight up from the

South Pole, the wind chill factor makes it *much* colder. And with the

house repairs we have going on, and not having a hall floor, and some

bits of wall missing the lining, even in the house it's only 13C

(55F). Off to get some ginger tea and turn a heater on <teeth chattering>.
