Guest guest
>so i wonder why God gave us pit hair? i've always thought maybe it was >to protect your upper arms from rubbing against each other thus causing >abrasion. : I can't answer for God, but one of the current science theories is that the hair helps transmit odor ... gives the bacteria a place to live so they can make that wonderful smell, which presumably advertises " who you are " . Males make more of the " bacteria food " responsible for said odor, and they have more hair to advertise it. Since our society is not real keen on intense odors, we do our best to sabatoge the process, shaving the hair and wearing deodorant.
