What do you guys do to snap out of the blues?

Hello Good Affirmation Friends,

Welcome to all our new members, too! Glad to have everyone here. Sorry to be

gone so much lately.

I have to confess that I've been kinda bla, dealing with a lot of family

stuff, and trying to get ahead in my studies, etc. However, since things don't

seem to be improving that much, I've decided to make an effort to get back to

" affirmations " and try to power my way out of the slump I've been in since

January. I can honestly say that I've been anxious and dealing with some

depression, anxiety, and frustration with a lot of things. But, if I can admit

this here, to everyone, than maybe that is the start to my bouncing back. Okay,

this is currently where I am at. I apologize if that brings any of you down. I

don't mean to discourage anyone, and usually I'm the one who is on top of the

world!

Perhaps, it is just a whole bunch of different stresses back to back, and

piled on top of each other. Perhaps, it is somewhat a hormonal thing -- am

turning 50 this month, and am going through the infamous change of life, etc.

Perhaps, it is just that I haven't been doing the right things that I know to do

each day to keep on keeping on! Whatever the reasons, I'm ready to admit where

I'm " at " , and to try to start climbing back out of the hole I've been in for

awhile. If I have let any of you down for not being around for awhile, I

sincerely genuinely apologize. I truly do care about each and everyone of you!

I just haven't been too delighted with myself lately. Okay, enough gloom and

doom. Today is the first day of the rest of your life! And my life! Let's go

out and make it a better day, evening, week, or whatever!!

Hang in there with me a bit, and we'll get things back together. I guess this

is one of those times when I need to " fake it, until I make it " ! I may also

need to start losing some weight, exercising more, etc. and that couldn't hurt

anything either.

Okay, what do you guys do to " snap out of the blues " ? Open for discussion

the rest of this week -- anyone, ...want to share!
