Guest guest
Abundantly Receiving Far too often we find it so easy to give, and so difficult to receive. For some reason, we are uncomfortable with the notion of receiving money or other offerings that we have not officially worked for, or earned. Those " reasons " lie somewhere within our belief system patterns, and our level of self worth. Maybe you were taught as a child, " It is better to give than to receive. " Possibly you were parented or mentored by someone who taught that you must work very hard to earn money or earn your way to the top, and thus created the belief that if you did not work hard for it you were not worthy of it. Many times I have asked clients and participants on my tele-classes, " How would it feel if I gave you $100.00? " Most of the time the response is, " uncomfortable " , " embarrassed " , or " I wouldn't let you give me that " . Some participants say " Thank you! " What would be your response to a random gift of money? What if it was $100,000? What if it was $1? This is a good exercise to assess your comfort level in regard to receiving. If you comfort level is low, what do attribute this to? Do some soul searching - it pays to be clear of what is in the way and do what you need to do. It is your belief? Is it feeling inadequate or not worthy? Are you undeserving? If you struggle with receiving in your life, know that you will struggle creating the " life of your dreams " . You need to be willing to accept the good that comes to you, and learn to expect that that kind of good is always coming your way. Thinking and feeling " it's not ok to be on the receiving end " will again set you up for an out picturing of lack in your life. You must be willing to soften your resistance to receiving, inch by inch in order to allow the flow of wealth and prosperity to bless your life. My hope is that one day you will be in joyous thankfulness and radiate deservingness. You deserve to receive! http://www.youevolve.com/
