When the leaders of the organization are the extremists, their existence

certainly does invalidate the entire organization. PETA gives animal rights

activists a bad name. They use bad information and promote simplistic

solutions that would often end up hurting animals if they were actually

implemented.

I am a strong animal rights activist, which is why I don't associate with

PETA.
