we have been talking some of us about teaching iMP'ing as allegorial to the

but also a year ago i was at a Bard collge reunion and teh president

of the college leon Botstein is a way cool guy Into serious music and

conducting , hisotry, innovation, education. Has doen this fabulous job.

Some body asked teh same kind of question- are you going to run for

offcie? So Leon botstein- who bless hisheart never finishes one thought

without touching abotu 6 more subjects and all inone breath, talks abotu

politics and how they do have politics at the college and how they have an

Alger Hiss endowed chair and to some that is politcal but someone endowed it

in memory of a guy who changed hislife and had wanted to have that memory

of him ,and then he launches into some greek classics about some one ?

antigone or someone wanted to do the same to bury Oedipus her

dad(??detials) in honor of his life not becasue the errors he made were

being ignored but to honor his life, and then he goes into well about 6

other subjects with this incredible depth and breadth of educated mind and

finally says well he says, if i could have any job

i would like to be Pope he says .
