Guest guest
& others, I also get very nervous when walking into a large room full of people. Kind of strange because I have to do so very often (one would think i would be used to it?). When I do so, I really concentrate on what it is I have to do. In my mind I am laughing at half of the two faced people I see, and then sometimes I feel sorry for them. In a small town you have people all over the place who " THINK " they know you just because they may have talked to a friend or a neighbor, even a relative. I honestly believe that most people feel kind of odd when they have to be in a large crowd of people, but if they have a gang of friends to hang with they seem to feel superior. Last year I got rid of a lot of negative friendships, people who laughed at me + my children, people ADULTS, who could not stop discussing my life. To my face they were just so nice, they of course were my very " GOOD " friends. A lot I have learned from that experience. For the past 3 years I have been wanting to MOVE to a larger area, a place where I do not know many people. When I was in CA I loved it, when we lived in NY I loved it, but now that I live in my old hometown I HATE it......Why? The people around me, I just do not want to be around them. Oh I have a few very special friends, and I would miss them dearly! Though I would not miss this town full of fake people~ Oh boy my baby has locked himself into my BEDROOM, I gotta run! Hang in there ladies and know you are not alone =) Kim
