I made my first non-kefir fermented drink with grains, and it came out

great! I used coconut milk, to which I'd already added some sweeteners

(stevia and lo huan something). It still worked, and isn't even that

i kefired canned coconut milk once...organic, not low-fat and it had

the ever present guar gum.

it gave me bad diarrhea, but since i started taking coc. oil, that

pretty much cleaned me out, literally, so it's not a problem anymore.
