,

My purpose on this list is both to learn and to pass along information when

it appears I can be helpful to another person. To the extent that you and I

might fit into one of those two kinds of exchanges, I am more than happy to

talk to you.

Many people on this list also enjoy a good debate, and they will cheerfully

step forward to argue, not just food, but politics and religion. This kind

of thing is beyond me, not only in terms of interest, but also in terms of

energy. My energy is -- must be -- reserved for the work of healing.

Thank you very much for your deference. Likewise I do appreciate your

inclination to still be learning in an age when most people think

they have had their lot and just want to tell others what to do. God,

I hope it may be appear to you some day that I deserve to be helped

by you, for this would make me feel a more dignified person. I can't

pretend to be on a level to impart to you anything whatsoever, but if

you decide that I can also be a useful source to you somehow, please

let me know.

Be sure that if and whenever I talk to you, I will make a point of

respecting the limits and boundaries that you are so aptly describing

here. My feling is that all things are really interconnected, and

that if you discuss all aspects of a single topic, you may end up

finding yourself immersed in politics, religion or psychology for

that matter. My energy as it were is spent on detecting these often

hidden connections, but of course we don't need to go all that way to

meet common ground.
