Guest guest
Hi > I'm stuck in the position of, on the one hand, agreeing that it makes > a lot of sense to approach anxiety issues from a cognitive approach, So let's try a cognitive approach and see what happens. I'm offering to give your friend a few EFT sessions over the phone if she is willing. I started using clearing type processes in about 1995. From '95 to '00 I spent a couple thousand hours both giving and receiving sessions and getting trained. Bad news was that while I learned a lot and truly had my life changed in many ways I was not getting the results I wanted from the processes. I was actually getting worse in some respects. Sometime in 2000 a friend sent me the EFT manual and I started using it immediately. Since that time I have done two workshops with Craig (the creator of EFT) and trained in a similar practice called PEAT. In 2001 I organized and taught a three day workshop on PEAT in Los Angeles. Since that time I have been intermittently delivering and receiving EFT and PEAT and it's part of the reason that I'm so hesitant to ascribe my recent personal psych changes to diet and/or detoxes alone. EFT works. Sometimes spectacularly fast, sometimes with great effort. I'm making this offer because your friend's problem is fairly unique. It is well defined (the results are easily measurable) and it appears to be pretty specific as she is capable of climaxing on her own. You never know where these things will lead, but seems as though this problem is pretty straightforward. Another thing that I bring to the table in this situation is that there is nothing that she could encounter in sessions about this subject that would embarrass me. I do not consider myself to be a master EFTer, nor am I formally educated in psychological practices. I am a good processor, though, and think I can help your friend. I make no guarantees to results but I feel sufficiently optimistic that I'm willing to make a public offer to help her out. It will be a nice challenge and the added pressure of having everyone watching creates a little bit of stimulus. Ron
