I have observed that overweight is often associated with constipation.

My dh and I have been discussing this lately. He is severely over weight,

literally gorges all the wrong foods despite what is fixed and goes days with

out a BM.

He feels horrible, has begun feeling sickly, has no energy, and wants to sleep

all the time but he doesn't seem to be able to help himself.

The first thing that I suggested was that he needed to clean out his body, then

start eating right and then add exercise.

I have had a major break through in that he is trying to clean out his system

and has had a BM daily for the last week.

I know that if " HE " won't do it there is nothing that I can do but I have my

fingers crossed that this will be a new start for him.

Hi Cheryl:

Thank you for your feedback. What else can I say to you? Yes, your

husband may need to re-educate himself in terms of eating. We all

need some kind of re-education in our lives, in different fields

maybe. So he is not alone. And since he has you by his side, I

somehow feel that he will manage it. I am keeping my fingers crossed

for him as well.

Best wishes,

José

He has a long hard road ahead of him.
