All Ionic Breeze models are frauds, and Sharper Image has gotten into legal

trouble over their advertising.

Austin Air makes fabulous Air Cleaners. Expensive but their filters last

years and they are relatively quiet -- a very soothing air sound.

We use the BlueAir AV with the Smoke Stop Filters. It is big but very

quiet. They can be expensive but if you look on Ebay you can sometimes get

a great deal. The Smoke Stop Filters are an extra $100 but they are

supposed to take out some VOCs as well. At the time when we bought this, a

couple years ago, we did a lot of reaseach and this looked like the best

one. Who knows for sure but we've been happy with it.
