My heart and prayers are with you now and in future days. So nice to hear

that your dad went peacefully, surrounded by those who loved him dearly. Even

in a coma, I believe our LOs know or sense that energy. May he always be next

to your heart and kept alive by your wonderful memories of him. Blessings to

you and your family.

Love & Prayers,

Betty Wittenberg

he's at peace in a better place.

Best wishes

My father passed away 8/7/03

Peacefully, on August 7, my dad took his last breath on earth. He

left with his loved ones around him, in the comfort of his home.

I've been away from the computer for two weeks--that's how long it

took him. He went without food/water for eight days and was in a

morphine-induced coma. He was at peace and under no discomfort.

His funeral will be Sunday through Tuesday in Pittsburgh. To my

fellow LBD caregivers--take heart and know that you are not alone in

this. It is awful to watch your LO go through this but knowing that

they will be whole again in another place, a far much better place

than this, will give you peace and comfort. God be with you all for

He will give you the strength and courage to go on.

Please accept my most heartfelt condolences in the passing of your dad.

You have now completed your journey and I promise you will be a more

caring and compassionate person for the job you have completed. It is

comforting to know that your dad's body is made anew, that he will have

no more struggles, and he is now in Heaven praying for you. Please stay

in touch, keep the faith, and take care of yourself.

Sending hugs of strength to you at this time.
