Guest guest
Chris- >LOL! Wow, , that's hilarious. Yeah, but also depressing. I just started taking some NutriBiotic GSE this morning -- and then I found that study. >Well, at least the only gf seed extract I'm taking is secondary to the >undecylenate, the main reason I bought it. My order of Triple Yeast should be delivered today, but with any luck there's no triclosan or methylparaben in it, since GSE is just one lesser ingredient (only 40mg per cap). At least, that's what I hope, but since it's the only supplement I could find with undecylenate, it's not like I have a lot of choice. This also has me reconsidering F/C Cidal from Biotics Research, which Ron sort of recommended. I say " sort of " because he said that when he took it for two weeks, he was completely out of it -- really spaced out. Here's the most detailed description of it I could find: >>Proprietary blend 500 mg Artemesia dranuncula - This herb contains the >>following fungicides: caffeic acid, capillin, chavicol, cinnamic acid, >>cymene, eugenol, ferulic acid, geraniol, isoeugenol, linalool, >>phoroglucinol, and umbelliferone Tinospora cordifolia - This Ayurvedic >>herb, commonly used for G. I. tract disturbances and skin rashes as found >>with eczema and psoriasis, contains giloin, gilenin, and tinosporine. >>Equisetum arvense (Horsetail) - Used as a source of silica. Thymus >>vulgarls - This herb contains several fungicides including thymol. >>Tebebuia species (Pau D'Arco) - Contains antifungal properties. Sida >>cordifolia - This Ayurvedic herb contains mulhela alkaloids, resins and >>phytosterols. Traditionally used as a stimulant and to alleviate symptoms >>of dysentery. Olea suropaea (Olive Leaf)- Contains antifungal and >>antiviral polyphenols. I'm not familiar with tinospora cordifolia or sida cordifolia. The latter, though, apparently contains ephedrine alkaloids, and the former may be a diuretic. Any thoughts? -
