He has vein circulatory problem, and Rheumatoid and Osteoarthritis. The problem as it's now seen is that the bacterial infection in addition to a yeast infection are still latent in his system and need to be dealt with. Probably they decided a part of the latent Staph. Ilse - I would be happy to hear what you used I have an over the counter wound gel that is excellant and have used Aloe - but a drop of water in the desert needs more For the small wounds they perform well. He has the typical diabetic lack of feeling in his feet and he has always been active in puttering with our old cars. So when he feels good he goes to the garage. For about 6 months now I wrap his arms and legs with ace wrap and he's decided to get shin guards. We tease he looks like a mummy.
