Well, I have yet another question for you all, and this one gets a bit

more personal.

I think I have stuggled with some form of constipation all of my life,

and while it has gotten a *bit* better, I just can't figure it out.

The only time I remember having two full BMs a day was when I was a

fruitarian, but then of course I had many other problems to boot.

Recently, I took a liver tea each night that was similar to one that

Katja had suggested and was having two BMs a day then, too (I think

dandelion is supposed to be a laxative?).

So here I am, having cycled out the liver tea and having BMs maybe

every other day unassisted. Sometimes those " emergen-c " packets help

get things moving, sometimes not.

Most days I drink lots of water and herbal tea, kefir, raw egg yolks,

a couple of pieces of fruit, maybe a bite of bread, raw butter,

sauerkraut, salads, CLO, olive oil, VCO, rare meats, and veggies.

Adding fats seems to aggravate the constipation, and yet they help so

many other imbalances in my body. How confusing!

Any thoughts, suggestions, jokes?

Thanks,

a

Hi a,

I've had a bit of the same trouble off and on. Is there a reason you

discontinued the liver tea? From what I understand, congested livers

can cause constipation, so that may be a sign that you need some more

liver detoxing and that the liver tea was doing its job.

Another thing, I know that grains are rather taboo to lots of people

on this list, but I've found that after adding them back into my diet

I am much more regular. I also feel lots better in other ways, also.

I've started making a 100% whole wheat honey bread and have been

eating some of that almost every day.

Each one of us is different, and what's bad for one may not be for

another. So it takes some experiementation to find what works for you.

If it were me, though, and the liver tea was working, I'd continue

with it. But perhaps you went off of it for other reasons?

Well, I was taking it for a couple of months and thought it was a good

idea to take a break from herbs like that so that they remain

effective. I have just always heard that is a good idea. I wonder

how long I would have to take it for it to get me regular again...

You know, I think that I noticed that grains helped me a bit, too.

But I think they also made me hungrier throughout the day. Hmmm.

However, that might be a good thing for me lately as I have found that

my appetite has decreased quite a bit. I am even trying to exercise

more to work it up which is working a bit. It just feels like

everything has shut down in a sense. No appetite, no BMs.

I might cycle into it again soon. I know that my liver is congested.

I have even done a few of those olive oil flushes and have passed

almost a thousand stones.

Thanks so much for the input, Fern!

Ever try a Liver Flush?? www.toolsforhealing.com- probably same premise as Liver

Tea, just more dramatic results. EVERYONE has a congested liver full of stones.

I am thinking this is in part due to eating the wrong kind of fats (cooked) or

not enough fats. You need these fats to make the right composition for bile. I

have done a number of these flushes. I started out with pea sized stones, and

worked my way up to large marbles, and now I am pretty much clear at this point.

The fact that these were gall/liver stones was confirmed a clinical nurse at

work. Her head almost blew off , she almost fell down when she asked me " You got

those out yourself??? " She had been an OR nurse , and had only seen them in

surgery. You know you are getting good bile flow when sometimes your poops

float. They float because of the cholesterol content from yoour bile. If your

poops never ever float you may have a problem. If you do the recipe on tools for

healing make sure you take 4 capsules 500 MG of L-ornithine with the Olive

oil/grapefruit juice, or you will end up power puking at 3am.

It is another vitally important piece in the health puzzle to make sure the

pathways are clear from your liver out to your intestines. You do not want any

blockages here, because you don't want toxins accumulating in your liver. I

don't care how you do,it. Its just that with the flush it is easy to track your

progress, because you can see the stones, and what size etc. When you get down

to no stones or very few small ones you are done. They recommend after the

initial series of flushings that you do it 2 times a year for maintenance.

I have actually done four liver flushes, all of which were very

successful. I just finished one up a couple of weeks ago. I am

taking a bit of a break for the holidays and then will start up again

in January or February.

>EVERYONE has a congested liver full of stones. I am thinking this is

For me, it is also due to the fact that I took a lot of antibiotics

from childhood to the age of 20 or so. I am 27 now.

Have you noticed a change in your bowels from doing these?

Ah, I was wondering why the Ornithine was necessary.

Yep, I do a colonic after every flush!

How many flushes have you done?

Yes, I too took alot of antibiotics, asthma medications, was a heavy drinker for

a number of years, and I am 30 now. I never had elimination problems, but now I

notice that my poops sometimes float, and I feel really good. All this stuff

lurking in your body really weighs you down, especially the mind. This together

with some other things I have been doing are slowly regenerating me. I started

out on inhalers 24 hours a day, near sightedness to the tune of -5.25 and -5.5

and depression. I am happy to say I am only taking one inhaler when I spend an

extended amount of time with Cats - and maybe other animals. ( I am exposed to

Cats the most.Everyone I know has one.)

I can now run and vigorously exercise with no medication. I no longer have

depression, and my eyesight has improved to about -4.25 in both eyes, but my

vision fluctuates. I recently started picking up on eating more raw fats,

especially with the proper omega 3 balance. I have done alot of cleansing- Juice

fasting and the like. But I believe all my symptoms are a lack of the propper

fats for my brain, eyes and lungs. These symptoms are my body screaming out for

some propper lubrication .All three organs need these fats especially (PC) found

in eggs and milk butter. I just ate my first coconut last night with some

unheated honey. MMMM good !

I did flushes for about two years. I marked them down, I believe it was around

12 or 13 flushes. At first I did them every two weeks, but I think the reduction

in back pressure makes them not able to collect as fast in the gall bladder. So

I moved to once a month when I wasn't seeing so many stones. That was the trick.

So I did once a month, and now I might do one every three months or six, just to

make sure everything is clear.

Floating poops can be a sign of inability to absorb fat

true, but the question is if I ate a large quantity of balanced omega 3/6 Raw

fats. How much can be absorbed by my body at one time.?? If they are bad fats I

am guessing they would be absorbable at the same rate?? Or would my body just

try to pass them out if it was getting enough good fats. Does the body say bad

fats are better than no fats?? Yes I do have cellulite, but how much was put

there by improper blood sugar levels (hence resulting in insulin overproduction,

stored fat. ) and how much deposited by fats bad fats absorbed ?? Many questions

on this. Maybe a poop float test is not a great indicator. I know that

liver/gallstones float. Before I started flushing my liver I never saw a poop

float, ever. Now I do, but there are alot of variables here. So I guess poop

float is a bad diagnostic tool. I guess the better advice would be to do a flush

and see if stones come out.

Robin,

It could be that the fats are not being broken down in the stomach due to

low hydrochloric acid........

Also cellulite could also be due to stored toxins...

Hello, I have been dealing with some of the same issues. What I

found out was that there is a connection with gum disease and the

ability to metabolize fats.

I was not able to metabolize fats. My poop floated. I was informed

by Clara Felix of the work of a dentist who found that his patients

with gum disease also could not metabolize fats. He recommended

adding OX BILE as a supplement.

I did this (using Allergy Research's brand of ox-biile) and it worked

very well.

My dry eyes, dry hair, and gum disease all responded.

Fat absorption is so important to absorbing the essential fatty

acids.

I also am in the midst of a series of liver flushes. Eventially I

believe I will be able to stop using the ox-bile.

WOW very interesting. I have no dental issues, and strong gums. Is it the

quality of the fats that cause it not to be metabolized? There are

differntiations to be made here between cooked/raw fats -- Omega6/3 fats. And

how would someone go about curing a hydrochloric acid problem. I have read

that a back up of stones and bile in the liver possibly cause this. I have no

stomach digestive ailments ( well except Leaky gut, but that may be resolved by

now.) I eat such things as raw chicken, turkey, eggs, etc. and have no troubles.

I would think that If I had an acid problem I would have more upset or

dysfunction from some of the bacteria I eat. Although I do have One noticeable

problem. Alot of UNLADYLIKE BELCHING. I have always had this. I seem to notice I

am the gassiest one around. I come out with these fog horn belches sometimes.

Geesh I want to be able to absorb all the good EFA's I am eating, otherwise I am

flushing $ down the drain!!

Re: Another poop thread

The hydrochloric acid is prompted when the para-sympathetic system takes

over...the relaxing period... I think it's organochlrines that can turn this

off...Are you by any chance a nervous type..??

I read somewhere that drinking a cup of beet juice and seeing if it turns up

in your urine is an indication of whether the hydrochloric acd is working.

Red urine means system not working...

Sounds though that your acid maybe low..belching could mean that there's

lot's of die off from bacteria in the stomach..High bacteria is also a sign

of low acid..

Although eating too much at one sitting may be a problem for Hcl as well. If I

put too much in at one time I suppose the hcl mixture will get diluted. I mean

how much HcL can the body pump out? I may not be following my bodies rules, and

I guess I should pay more attention to the conditions under which I Burp.

Robin, I've had the same belching problem. I also noticed that when I

get a back rub, or rub my own shoulder muscles, that I start belching

until something finally seems relieved, both in my stomach and in the

tightness of my neck/shoulder muscles. My sister and father are the

same way. I mentioned this to my chiropractor, who said the shoulder

muscles are related to the stomach. He does CRA/BRT (which involve

muscle testing) and determined that I am low in stomach acid and gave

me Zypan (a Standard Process product) which contains betaine

hydrochloride. That seems to have helped tremendously, though I still

have some belching. But not nearly like before. It also seems to have

relieved the headaches I was getting right tight shoulder/neck

muscles.

Our bodies are so fascinating. I am always amazed at some of the

seemingly unrelated connections in our body. We truly are fearfully

and wonderfully made.

I also forgot to mention that taking cayenne pepper (in capsule or

tincture form) before eating is supposed to help, as it triggers your

stomach to produce hydrochloride acid. I haven't actually tried as it

seems the Zypan is working. But I should, as it would be a much better

long-term solution if it would work for me.

Sounds like low acid....

I'd go the apple cider vinegar route before trying the oral hydrochlric

acid. The vinegar treatment ios very well known here in Germany and many

people swear by it.

It also is great at flushing out yeast....

Yeah, sometimes I am not a very relaxed person , and I do carry some tension .

Have been to a good chiro. They straightened me out and broke my joints free.

Since then I have been working out to keep things in alignment.

Yes our bodies are intricate fascinating systems. It's a process of eliminating

variables and listening to my body. I have to start paying more attention to the

belching- when it occurs, and experiment with food quantities, combinations ,

etc. - The magic Mystery (sometimes Misery ) Tour of the body
