Guest guest
Hi, We use " namaste " as a salutation -- meaning " I salute the God within you " or " I salute (or recognize or acknowledge) the divine in all beings " quite commonly here. We usually smile at the way Westerners, especially Americans, make the " e " at the end of " Namaste " sound like the " a " in the word " stay. " The Indians here say it with an " e " as in " egg. " It's a recognition of the divinity in all beings -- that's why a lot of New Thoughters (those into the teachings of Unity, Religious Science, Divine Science and similar groups) love using the word " namaste " . BTW, Louise Hay is a Religious Science minister. Trust that helps. In light and love, > > Happy New Year, everyone! > > My website offers me a window on the world.
