I went to the WFN website and was unable to find any refined oil. Am I

missing it somewhere? And what is TT?

Ron,

I'm sorry. I led you on a wild goose chase with WFN having the

expeller pressed oil. I just remembered they don't have it but here

is a link to the Tropical Traditions website. Just click on healthy

oils on the left side of the page.

Funny -- I actually have the book from the Tropical Traditions people. I

didn't realize they had a website. Didn't like the book much so I may have

never tried to find out more about them.

I ordered a quart of the expeller pressed oil. That sounds like it might be

perfect for mayo. Not as good for me as virgin oil but a worthwhile

compromise for the mayo flavor. I'll let you know.

Del and Ron,

Someone on this list was using macadamia nut oil to make mayo. It

sounded good. Maybe try the search engine.

That was me, and it's very good, though since there is a faint macadamia

flavor, it doesn't work with everything. On a (no-bread) roast beef

sandwich: marvelous. In a sauce with shrimp: not so great.

Hi Ron,

Just wanted to thank you again for the mayo recipe. I made it with

the light olive oil and it is fantastic! Easy to make too! I did add

a dollap of honey mustard. I will make without the mustard next time.
