Second question: I'm finding that I'm eating a tablespoon or two a day

of Pascalite: which is way in excess of the recommended dose. Any

thoughts about how inadvisable that might be?

Cheers,

Kate

It might waste money? I don't think there is a problem eating

a T a day ... they used that in one study when the person

had dysbiosis. In animal studies there were problems when

the clay level reached something like 20% of the diet,

which is just a huge amount of clay! Also it's a problem

when cats eat kitty litter, but that's another type of

bentonite (swells in the gut and causes blockages). Most

animals do end up eating a lot of dirt with their food

and it doesn't cause problems unless it is contaminated

with parasites.

Have you tried cutting back to see what the minimal dosage

is? I was using a tsp. with each meal when travelling, and that

seemed fine.

This last week I cut back on Pascalite and started drinking

kefir beer more consistently, and THAT has made a huge

difference too. 1 big glass of beer nightly. Oh, it's such

a struggle to get it down ... NOT!
